Welcome to my website. I make my living by painting portraits and have done so for over 40 years. I have painted portraits for the Pentagon, for the US Congress, for the state of Virginia, for federal and state courthouses, numerous universities, churches, and private families. I usually work with oil paints on primed linen. I also work quite a bit with pastels. I live in Virginia but have traveled all over the United States and to England for portrait sittings. I strive to capture a moment in a person's life with as much fulness as I can bring from all my years of experience.
